When a passion becomes a profession ...
Modern interior design from 1900 to around the 1980s, always with a focus on art, design and creation.
Objects with history and a special charm, which, due to a temporary gap, advanced to become popular classics.
We attach great importance to original pieces. Formative of style in its time - once often misunderstood and interesting and extravagant nowadays. Our objects have left the status as a normal used item and are now classifieds as collector´s items, art and antiques.
Furniture, lights and interior, which impress with their shape, material and color and a certain simplicity, timelessly elegant. In addition, of a quality of craftsmanship, which you will miss at most today's objects. They can also often be dismantled and thus restored, which is a guarantee for sustainability and appreciation. A counterpoint to today's throwaway society, in which a lot of new furniture is produced to last only a short time. Every time and style epoch has produced well-known objects, ... but the transitions between these time periods are often fluid, considering the vita of their designers, who once in some cases significantly influenced interior design and architecture for decades.
Our philosophy is that Zeitklassiker/ timeclassics, if justifiable, should retain their charm in the form of historical traces and patina. Of course, that doesn't mean that these pieces will simply be resold under the guise of patina without further inspection or cleaning. We create a restoration concept for each piece.
This can sometimes only be a minor cleaning, or a complete restoration, taking into account the correct materials and substances, should this be necessary. Here you can proof on my experience as a graduate engineer with years of restoration practice and an additional pool of specialised restorers and renovaters.
This type of modern and individual living not only preserves a piece of history, but also supports sustainability in terms of resource conservation and active environmental protection.
