Timeless industrial design and dedicated to functionalism,
which found its way into AEG and its corporate design with various designers.
Of course, the name Peter Behrens falls directly in that time and to AEG and the AEG designs of that era.
An exact attribution to this curious and interesting object is difficult.
Future research may bring further insights.
The function of the ceramic hot bottle was to charge/warm it up on the external charging station and then use it as a warming object. What telephone providers "invented" years ago for cordless telephones... already existed here about 100 years ago.
The objects are marked several times, .. with AEG, the notes 110 W and 220 V,
and DRGM ( Deutsches Reichs Gebrauchs Muster)

  • Cardboard Ø 12 cm x H 27 cm
  • Bottle Ø 8 cm x H 21 cm
  • Base Ø 11 cm x H 2 / 4 cm
  • Total height of electric bottle with charging base 23.5 cm
We cannot say if this object is still technically functional.
The cable is old, hardened and no longer safe - due to the collector's condition and the originality of this object, nothing was changed. Sale is therefore without function.
