Cosack Diabolo Desklamp 6012
Cosack Diabolo 6012 Table Lamp
A beautiful German mid-century design classic
Offered is this beautiful table lamp from the late 1950s.
The model is based on a design by Karl Heinz Kinsky for Gebr. Cosack Leuchten in Neheim.
The lamp is characterized by its airy elegance.
The diabolo-shaped aluminum shade is finished in a salmon-red wrinkle lacquer that offers a wonderfully silky sheen—delightful to the touch. The two-part cast base features the same finish.
The two sections are connected by an elegantly curved, high-polish brass arm featuring a barrel joint inside the shade. The lamp has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and polished, and is preserved and protected with a special colorless, pH-neutral museum wax.
The lacquer, the brass arm, and all other components are in excellent original condition, showing only minor, localized signs of age-related patina and use.
