The lifestyle magazine of the bauhaus designer and pupils and the modern society. Published from 1929-1943 with 163 editions by the Leipzig publishing house Otto Beyer. The price of 1 RM was already high back then, so that the magazine was more of a prestige object for the publisher throughout its life. Many Bauhaus artists worked on it. Both in the texts and topics, as well as in the design. In addition to many title pages, Herbert Bayer also created the typeface "die neue linie". Laszlo Moholy Nagy was also involved with designs... along with many other graphic designers. This issue from July 1934, nr 11 was designed by Kohlitz.
