Wonderful original desklamp/tablelamp from 1920/30.
Manufacture Jacobus - Gebrüder Jacob GmbH - Zwickau/Germany.
Version as bankerslamp with rectangular shaped shade and the iron base, version 2268, which was also used on other lamps from Jacobus.
The base with the moveable arm are painted black, while the shade is enamelled in darkgreen and white.
Beside the classic clear design and qualitly, this lamp here impresses with the original condition.

The lamp has been put in parts to get a smooth restoration. All parts have been cleaned and are protected with a special clear museum wax which has a neutral ph value.

We would like to inform you that this is an item with used electrics.
In order to maintain the original condition, these historical components such as the lamp holder f.e. were not renewed. Sometimes the electrical components and assembly no longer comply with current standards.
Even if the item works, you would have to have it checked by a certified electrician at your own expense for use in the classic sense.
