Julius Bretz Chalk Drawing

Exceptional and wonderful chalk drawing by the well-known artist Julius Bretz who lived from 1870-1953.
The drawing on greyish cardboard, reduced to a few colours, shows the view from a forest onto a river bank and a small island/green planting in the river.
The picture is in an old, simple, elegant gold frame with a glass pane (old wavy glass), which is quite contemporary.
The work of art impresses with its quick sign language. Good condition with signs of wear and tear due to age.
The old picture support surface was recently replaced with acid-free cardboard. The back panel was remounted for historical purposes.
It is up to the buyer whether the picture stays in this frame or can be shown off in a modern frame with a passepartout. The price refers to the drawing. The frame is included free of charge.
