Kitchen Jars Neue Sachlichkeit / Bauhaus
Simple, monochrome storage jar set for the modern kitchen.
Elegant, timeless design language and reduced to the essentials.
German, ~ 1920s.
White rectangular earthenware/ceramic containers with black block letters and silvery metal lids in four different finishes.
sugar, coffee, tea and cocoa.
All ingredients that are still relevant today, around 100 years after their creation, and are therefore still often used with exactly these foods (compared to cans for pearl barley, starch, etc.).
The two large cans have a height of almost 19.5 cm and a side width of 9 cm.
The smaller cans are about 14.5 cm high and each have a width/depth of 6.5 cm.
Good, clean condition. The lids close and show no verdigris or the like.
The cans are clean on the inside and can still be refilled today without any problems.
The external condition is also excellent. One..two small chips or chips from the glaze, but they don't bother and are part of the age.
