Karl Raichle (* 31. August 1889 in Dettingen unter Teck; † 16. April 1965 in Meersburg)
After studying at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Karl Raichle dedicated himself to the manufacture of handcrafted vessels made of tin, brass and copper. Raichle lived in Urach (Württemberg) from 1918 to 1932/33, where he and friends founded a literary and social-anarchist group, the Urach Circle, also known locally as the "Red Angle". From 1933 he set up a tin forge in Meersburg and continued his work as a metal sculptor from there.
